What Is the Global Coffee Scholarship?
- The Global Coffee Scholarship is an annual international program that brings together coffee enthusiasts, baristas, creatives, and changemakers from around the world for:
• A fully funded cultural journey to Ethiopia
• Immersive coffee farm visits, traditional brewing ceremonies, and sustainability workshops
• Hands-on experiences with local communities and producers
• Cross-cultural learning between Ethiopian youth and global coffee lovers
- Together, we honor the past, experience the present, and invest in the future of coffee.

- Ethiopia is the land of origins – where the legend of Kaldi and the dancing goats began, and where centuries-old coffee traditions still thrive today. From Yirgacheffe to Sidama, from jebena ceremonies to modern cafés, Ethiopia offers a unique and sacred journey through coffee heritage, diversity, and storytelling.

We welcome applications from:
• Coffee lovers of all backgrounds and experience levels
• Students, creatives, entrepreneurs, baristas, and sustainability advocates
• Individuals passionate about culture, education, and making global connections
There are two tracks:
1. 🌍 International Applicants – win a cultural scholarship to Ethiopia
2. Ethiopian Applicants – win an educational travel + cultural ambassador role
